Site Section Head - Civil (Finishing)

• Lead and supervise all civil finishing and fit-out activities on-site to ensure project completion according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings, doors, and other architectural finishing activities.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and manpower to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of works.
• Coordinate with technical office, MEP, QA/QC, and other project teams to resolve site issues and avoid clashes or delays.
• Monitor daily progress against the project schedule and take corrective actions to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, inspection requests, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Track material requirements, site resources, and subcontractor performance to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure finishing works meet the required standards before handover.
• Prepare progress reports and escalate critical issues affecting project completion to project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil construction, with strong expertise in finishing and architectural works.
• Proven experience in leading and supervising finishing activities on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, specifications, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and manpower effectively.
• Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and meeting tight completion deadlines.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve site execution challenges.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and ensure timely project completion.
