A Site Storekeeper is responsible for managing and controlling all materials, tools, and equipment received, stored, and issued at the project site. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper storage of materials, and timely availability of resources to support project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the site.
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and balances.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
• Issue materials to site personnel in accordance with approved material requests and company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment of materials.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and stock reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation, including delivery notes, material receiving reports, and inventory logs.
• Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors regarding material requirements and availability.
• Ensure housekeeping, organization, and safety standards are maintained within the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material consumption reports.
• Monitor and control the movement of company assets, tools, and equipment at the project site.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Storekeeper in MEP, electromechanical, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping procedures.
• Experience in handling construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Certification in Store Management or Inventory Control is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with MEP and construction materials is preferred.
