Site Superintendent

Capitol Construction is looking for a hands-on Site Superintendent to lead residential remodeling projects from demolition through the final punch list. Strong finish carpentry and punchlist management experience is a priority for this role. We’re looking for someone who understands the details, spots problems early, and takes pride in delivering a beautifully finished home.

What you’ll do

• Manage daily jobsite operations, coordinate employees and subcontractors, and keep projects moving.
• Perform and oversee finish carpentry, including doors, trim, cabinetry, and other detailed installations.
• Review plans and project scopes, plan upcoming work, and coordinate material needs.
• Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, safety, cleanliness, and protection of clients’ homes.
• Communicate progress and potential issues clearly with the project manager.
• Lead by example, solve problems, and manage punch lists through completion.

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrated finish carpentry experience—please highlight this in your application.
• Residential remodeling experience and the ability to oversee work from demo through completion.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable personal transportation and basic hand tools.
• Comfortable driving a truck with a trailer.
• Previous experience as a superintendent, lead carpenter, or working foreman.
• Ability to read plans, and hold a team accountable for quality and schedule.
• Professional and respectful approach with homeowners.
• A dependable, adaptable leader who’s comfortable rolling up their sleeves.

Pay

$30–$35 per hour (based on experience)
