Greenport Construction is hiring a Site Superintendent in San Rafael, CA, paying $55 to $70 an hour. You will lead day-to-day construction activities on mid-to-high-end residential remodels, custom homes, and light commercial projects across Marin, Sonoma, and San Francisco, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and materials to keep every job safe, on schedule, and built to our quality standards. At least 1 year of construction leadership experience is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Who You Are:

• You are a hands-on field leader who keeps crews, subcontractors, and vendors moving in the same direction.
• You bring 5 to 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• You read plans confidently and spot deficiencies, missing details, and out-of-scope change orders before they become problems.
• You can guide a crew on construction methods and hold the line on craftsmanship and safety.
• You are comfortable with digital tools, and experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and budgets is a plus.
• You live within an hour of San Rafael, CA, and being bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

What You Will Do Each Day:

• Oversee daily construction activities and keep work progressing according to schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, crews, and trade sequencing.
• Review work for accuracy, quality, and code compliance, and address deficiencies promptly.
• Enforce GCI and Cal/OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Track deliveries, anticipate material needs, and batch orders to minimize hardware store runs.
• Maintain daily logs, time and expense records, and job photos, and keep the Project Manager updated.
