Site Supervisor C&S

Responsible in supervising and coordinating daily c&s construction activities. Ensures that site works are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality requirements and project schedules. To monitor site progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor activities, support inspections and documentation, and report construction issues and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily C&S construction activities.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment at site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate work activities with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical and Piping.
• Supervise civil works including excavation, backfilling, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting and related activities.
• Supervise structural works including steel erection, installation of beams, columns, platforms, supports, gratings, handrails and structural components.
• Assist QA/QC during inspections
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, work permits, PPE and safe work practices.
• Maintain daily site records, inspection requests, checklists and progress documentation.
• Perform other C&S supervision duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or a related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in civil and structural construction supervision
• Experience in supervising construction activities
• Able to read and interpret civil/structural drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel erection and general civil works.
• Basic understanding of QA/QC requirements, inspection procedures and construction documentation.
• Able to coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, site personnel and other disciplines.
• Able to monitor work progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Good reporting, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work at site, including extended hours when required by project requirements
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Must be a team player, disciplined and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
