SITE SUPERVISOR

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure works are completed according to the approved drawings, specifications, and work programme.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure all works comply with project quality standards, contract requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Monitor site progress and report daily work progress to the Site Agent or Project Manager.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify construction issues, defects, and non-conformance, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available and utilized efficiently.
• Verify that work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements and safe work procedures.
• Monitor material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling at site.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily site reports, manpower records, inspection records, and site diaries.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained throughout the project site.
• Report any delays, safety concerns, or technical issues promptly to the Site Agent or Project Manager.
• Assist during project testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure defects are rectified within the required timeframe.
