Site Supervisor (Construction / Renovation)

A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance works at project sites. The role involves supervising workers and contractors, monitoring work progress and quality, identifying site issues and defects, and ensuring all works are completed according to the required standards, specifications, and schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance works at project sites.
2. Monitor workers and contractors to ensure work is carried out properly and according to the required specifications.
3. Inspect completed and ongoing works to identify defects, workmanship issues, or areas requiring rectification.
4. Coordinate and follow up on defect rectification, repair, renovation, and maintenance works.
5. Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed within the required timeline.
6. Ensure proper usage of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
7. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers regarding site activities and work requirements.
8. Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure works meet the required standards.
9. Ensure the site is properly organised, clean, and safe throughout the project.
10. Report site progress, defects, issues, delays, and recommendations to management.
11. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports when required.
12. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in construction, renovation, maintenance, or a related field.
2. Diploma or equivalent qualification.
3. Good knowledge of construction, renovation, repair, and site work.
4. Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
5. Able to work independently, dynamic, responsible, and result-oriented.
6. Proficiency in English and Malay.
7. Willing to work at project sites and under site conditions.
8. Willing to work overtime when required.
9. Willing to travel or relocate to different project sites when required.
10. Possess a valid driving licence.
