Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations while ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and client requirements. The successful candidate will supervise site activities, promote a strong safety culture, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure operational excellence across multiple worksites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations across multiple worksites
• Conduct regular site visits and scheduled site walkdowns to monitor work progress, safety, and operational standards
• Coordinate manpower deployment, overtime arrangements, and replacement of manpower when required
• Monitor equipment condition and follow up on repairs and maintenance
• Ensure daily operational records and reports are completed accurately
• Conduct operations and safety training, including SOP and Risk Assessment (RA) briefings
• Lead and participate in toolbox meetings and safety talks
• Carry out site inspections, Behaviour-Based Safety Observations (BBSO), audits, equipment checks, and spot checks
• Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Liaise with clients, contractors, terminal representatives, and internal departments on operational and safety matters

About you

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in operations, logistics, marine, construction, or a similar industry
• Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good organisational and planning abilities
• Positive attitude with a hands-on approach
• Able to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and clients
