Site Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with Owner, Main Contractor, engineers and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and designs
• Monitor project scope, prevent scope creep, and track/follow up on project variations
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets; track and quantify work progress for progress claims and payment
• Develop, track and maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tools; generate and maintain CPA (Critical Path Analysis) to ensure schedule health
• Employ schedule crashing and project fast-tracking techniques to mitigate delays
• Oversee construction activities onsite, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Implement the Project Quality Plan and Safety Management Plan as per site requirements
• Manage resources labor, materials, and equipment — to optimize project efficiency
• Track delivery and monitor shop fabrications and supplier schedules for on-time delivery
• Act as liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all levels
• Address technical and logistical issues arising during construction
• Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, including plant/equipment erection and thermoplastic piping
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or in a similar role, with 5 years of on-site experience preferred
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, CPA/scheduling tools)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work onsite and in varied conditions, with PPE compliance as required
