Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating furniture installation and site activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily furniture installation and site activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Review shop drawings, layouts, material specifications, and installation requirements.
• Allocate manpower and assign daily tasks to carpenters, installers, and other site workers.
• Monitor the installation of wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, doors, wall panels, cabinets, office furniture, and other custom-made furniture.
• Ensure furniture is installed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
• Check site measurements and coordinate with the production team to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor materials delivered to site and ensure proper handling, storage, and protection.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure materials are available when required.
• Identify site issues, delays, damages, or technical problems and report them to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth installation.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure proper finishing and alignment.
• Ensure workers follow site safety rules, company procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain daily site reports, manpower records, material records, and progress updates.
• Monitor project progress against the planned schedule.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients and site representatives.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized throughout the installation process.

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in furniture installation, joinery, fit-out, or interior works.
• Previous experience supervising furniture installation teams.
• Good knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, fittings, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of site coordination and construction/fit-out procedures.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with different teams.

Pay: AED2,139.77 - AED3,301.08 per month
