About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team at C.E.M.B. Engineering Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company based in Northeast Penang Island District, Penang. As our Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations and ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Managing on-site health and safety, including conducting regular safety inspections and implementing appropriate safety measures
• Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to project managers and clients
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise and finding solutions to minimise delays or disruptions
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction regulations and company policies
• Mentoring and training junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

• Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, and project management principles
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Proficient in communicating effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
