Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Site Supervisor to manage and supervise the day-to-day activities at our construction site. The primary responsibility will be to ensure proper supervision of material receiving, unloading, labour work, material movement, and general site activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work activities at the construction site.
• Monitor and supervise labour and workers during working hours.
• Record and verify material received at the site.
• Check incoming materials against delivery challans/invoices.
• Supervise loading and unloading of construction materials.
• Ensure materials are unloaded safely and placed at the designated location.
• Maintain records of material received, quantity, date, supplier, and vehicle details.
• Monitor movement of materials from storage areas to the actual work location.
• Keep track of material usage and report shortages or excessive wastage.
• Ensure proper storage of cement, steel, sand, bricks/blocks, tiles and other construction materials.
• Inform management when materials are running low and need to be ordered.
• Supervise labour allocation and ensure workers are engaged in the assigned work.
• Check whether daily assigned work has been completed properly.
• Maintain basic daily site attendance and work records.
• Take photographs/videos of important daily site activities and material deliveries when required.
• Keep the site clean and organized and ensure materials are not unnecessarily damaged or wasted.
• Immediately report any shortage, damage, theft, wastage, dispute, delay, or unusual activity to management.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, drivers, labourers and other site personnel.
• Ensure that no material leaves the site without proper authorization.
• Maintain discipline and basic safety practices at the site.
• Perform other site-related duties assigned by management.

• Number of workers present
• Contractor/labour team
• Work assigned
• Work completed

2. Material Inward

• Material name
• Quantity received
• Supplier
• Vehicle number
• Challan/invoice number
• Date and time
• Condition of material

3. Material Outward / Movement

• Material issued
• Quantity
• Location where material was used
• Person/contractor receiving the material

4. Site Work

• Work completed today
• Work in progress
• Pending work
• Issues or requirements

Candidate Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in construction/site supervision preferred.
• Experience in handling construction materials and labour.
• Basic understanding of construction site activities.
• Ability to maintain written/digital records.
• Basic smartphone and WhatsApp knowledge.
• Honest, punctual and responsible.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently at the construction site.

The main objective of this role is to ensure that materials coming into the site, materials being used, labour working on site, and daily site activities are properly supervised and recorded.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
