SITE SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join KONTRAKTOR PEMBINAAN W Y PANG in Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a critical role in overseeing construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on construction sites, coordinating teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction teams on-site, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and timelines

• Monitor daily construction activities and progress against project schedules, identifying and resolving delays promptly

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations and company safety policies at all times

• Manage site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and incident records

• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available as required

• Perform quality inspections and ensure construction work meets required standards and specifications

• Address and resolve site-related issues, conflicts and safety concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain effective communication between on-site teams and management, providing regular progress updates

• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities on-site

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry, preferably 3+ years in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and safety standards relevant to the Malaysian construction sector

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise construction teams effectively

• Sound understanding of project management, scheduling and budget control

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications

• Competency in site documentation and record keeping

• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction supervision, health and safety or project management are advantageous

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental practices
