Site Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities at site.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.

• Read and interpret drawings and identify discrepancies or potential site issues before work commences.

• Carry out and verify site measurements and setting out accurately.

• Monitor the progress and quality of construction works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Coordinate and manage subcon, workers and daily work assignments.

• Plan and arrange materials, machinery, equipment and manpower in advance to avoid work interruptions and delays.

• Prepare daily and weekly work plans, including planning activities and resources required for the upcoming 1–2 weeks.

• Monitor site progress closely and identify potential delays or problems early. Take appropriate corrective action and escalate critical issues to the Project Manager or relevant parties.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.

• Conduct regular site inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction site experience is preferred.

• Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, site operations and project coordination.

• Able to read and understand architectural, structural, civil and M&E drawings.

• Good knowledge of site measurement and setting-out procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and make practical decisions on site.

• Proactive, organised and able to plan ahead rather than only respond to ongoing site activities.

• Knowledge of Auto Level, Laser Level and Total Station will be an added advantage.
