SITE SUPERVISOR

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily site activities for engineering, fabrication, piping, and installation works. The successful candidate should have strong practical skills in welding, piping, fabrication, measurement, and site supervision, as well as the ability to manage workers and coordinate site activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including fabrication, welding, piping, installation, and maintenance works.

• Manage and supervise site workers, welders, pipe fitters, fabricators, and subcontractors.

• Plan and assign daily work activities to site workers according to project requirements and schedule.

• Take site measurements and prepare material take-offs, dimensions, and basic work measurements.

• Read and understand engineering drawings, piping layouts, fabrication drawings, and site plans.

• Carry out and supervise welding works using SMAW (Arc Welding) and GTAW/TIG welding.

• Perform and supervise oxy-acetylene / oxy-fuel cutting and other fabrication works.

• Carry out piping installation and fabrication using various materials, including:

  • Mild Steel (MS)
  • Stainless Steel (SS)
  • HDPE
  • PVC

• Ensure proper pipe alignment, fitting, joint preparation, installation, and testing.

• Supervise equipment and machinery installation works where required.

• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and suppliers regarding site activities.

• Identify site problems and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.

• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment at the work site.

• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment.

• Ensure workers follow site safety requirements, work procedures, and PPE requirements.

• Prepare daily site reports, work progress updates, material requirements, and manpower records.

• Report project progress, site issues, and technical problems to the Project Manager or Engineer.

• Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.

• Perform other site-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in fabrication, piping, mechanical, engineering, construction, or water treatment projects.
• Strong practical experience in welding, piping, fabrication, and site installation.
• Able to perform SMAW and GTAW/TIG welding.
• Able to perform oxy cutting.
• Experienced in working with MS, SS, HDPE, and PVC piping.
• Able to take accurate site measurements and understand dimensions and material requirements.
• Able to read and interpret basic engineering and piping drawings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site workers.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
