Site Supervisor

About the role

You shall be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities to ensure works are carried out safely, properly and in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and agreed schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities, including contractors, subcontractors and workers, to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Work closely and maintain good coordination with the Project Manager, project team, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other teams involved in the project to ensure smooth execution of the works.
• Coordinate daily site activities and assist in resolving site issues, conflicts and coordination matters to avoid delays or disruption to the project.
• Monitor work progress, workmanship, materials and site conditions, and promptly report any delays, defects, discrepancies, risks or other site issues to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports, including work progress, manpower, activities carried out, materials, site conditions, photographs, issues encountered and other relevant site information.
• Ensure all relevant site records, inspection records, photographs, measurements and supporting documents are properly maintained and submitted as required.
• Ensure site works comply with applicable safety requirements, method statements, permits and project procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify completed works, materials and installation quality.
• Monitor contractors' and subcontractors' performance and ensure corrective actions are taken for defective, incomplete or non-compliant works.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating site inspections, testing, approvals, authority requirements and other project-related matters.

About you

• Relevant experience in construction site supervision (Civil Engineering)
• Experience in rail or MRT projects is an added advantage.
• Able to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willing to work night shifts when required by project activities.
