Site Supervisor

About the role

VVO CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a talented and experienced Junior Site Supervisor/Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on our project sites, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and supervising a team of construction workers to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Coordinating and scheduling work activities, allocating resources and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines
• Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise on site, taking prompt action to mitigate risks
• Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations, site policies and quality control measures
• Communicating regularly with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the construction activities
• Providing mentorship and training to junior members of the construction team

About you

• Diploma / Certificate or SPM in a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a similar site supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and plans
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
• A proactive, detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach to work
