Site Supervisor

1. Daily work execution

• Execute daily tasks as instructed by the Junior or Senior Engineer, as per drawings and specifications
• Allocate work to contractor gangs, foremen and labour, and ensure targets are met
• Monitor progress of activities such as shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plaster and tiling
• KPIs: daily target achieved vs. plan, work completed on schedule, rework %

2. Quality checks at site

• Verify reinforcement placement, shuttering alignment, levels, cover blocks and line-out before concreting
• Check that approved materials and mix specifications are used (RMC, blocks, tiles, waterproofing)
• Support sampling of concrete cubes and slump tests
• KPIs: pre-pour checks completed, rework due to workmanship errors, snags raised against own work

3. Safety and housekeeping

• Ensure PPE use, safe scaffolding, edge protection, formwork safety and safe lifting practices
• Attend and conduct toolbox talks, and report incidents and near-misses immediately
• Maintain housekeeping, material stacking and clear access routes
• KPIs: zero lost-time incidents, toolbox talk attendance, safety violations observed and closed, housekeeping audit score

4. Manpower and contractor coordination

• Track daily labour attendance by trade and contractor
• Coordinate with contractor supervisors for manpower, tools and equipment
• Report shortages or productivity issues to the engineer
• KPIs: manpower deployed vs. committed, productivity per trade, idle time

5. Material control and wastage

• Receive and check material deliveries against challans, quantity and quality
• Ensure correct storage, stacking and issue of material
• Monitor consumption of cement, steel, sand, aggregate and shuttering material
• KPIs: zero work stoppage due to shortage, wastage % vs. norms, stock register accuracy

6. Measurements and records

• Assist in taking site measurements and joint measurements with contractors
• Maintain the daily labour register, material register and work progress records
• KPIs: accuracy of measurements, records updated daily, discrepancies found in audits

7. Drawing and instruction compliance

• Work only from approved, latest drawings
• Raise queries or drawing discrepancies with the engineer before proceeding
• KPIs: zero execution against superseded drawings, queries raised on time

8. Reporting

• Submit daily progress, manpower and issue reports to the engineer
• Share site photographs and flag delays, hindrances and safety concerns
• KPIs: daily report submitted on time, issues escalated within the same day

9. Snagging and handover support

• Assist in identifying and rectifying snags and punch-list items
• Support cleaning, protection of finished work and handover readiness
• KPIs: snag closure within timeline, damage to finished work, repeat snags

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
