The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finishes Supervisor/Foreman to join our large scale mixed residential project. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead an excellent on-site team, overseeing all finishes-related activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers in finishes trades
• Oversee all on-site activities to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections, addressing issues and maintaining quality standards
• Manage site documentation including daily logs, safety records, and material orders
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, project team, and subcontractors to keep the project on track

About You:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor on large residential construction projects
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 principal contractor experience essential
• Strong knowledge of finishes trades, construction processes, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure
• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in construction management
