Site Supervisor - Construction

Job Overview

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities at the project site to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to the approved project schedule.
• Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise workers, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of construction activities.
• Prepare and monitor machinery maintenance schedules, utilisation reports, repair records and equipment performance reports for management review.
• Monitor construction progress and report delays or potential issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of construction materials, tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, manpower records, and other required documentation.
• Resolve day-to-day site issues and escalate major concerns to the Project Manager.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or potential hazards to the relevant Safety personnel.
• Support the implementation of site safety and environmental requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
• Experience in building, civil, infrastructure, or related construction projects is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant site experience and suitable technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Willing to travel frequently to project sites and different locations as required by the business.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or public holidays when required by project activities.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and construction practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and manpower management skills.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
