What they need
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings and timelines
- Manage and oversee daily work schedules, site workforce allocation and task assignment to ensure optimal productivity
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all workers comply with safety protocols
- Monitor material usage, equipment performance and site inventory to minimise waste and control costs
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and addressing concerns
- Quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure all work meets required standards and specifications
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including timesheets, attendance records, incident reports and progress logs
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
