Site Supervisor (Design & Build)

Responsibilities

• Able in overseeing overall site operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities, including the work of tradesmen, labourers, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Review and monitor daily work progress, identifying potential issues, delays, or risks, and taking timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and responsible work environment.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
• Conduct on-site inspections for structural and architectural works with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship by providing on-site training, guidance, and supervision to workers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, structural layouts, and architectural details; coordinate between structural and architectural works to avoid discrepancies.
• Implement quality control measures and perform regular site inspections to maintain project standards.
• Manage site inventory, confirm proper stock levels, and maintain accurate records for materials, tools, and machinery.
• Track and plan site machinery usage and ensure periodic maintenance schedules are followed.
• Maintain proper documentation including site reports, inspection records, inventory logs, and related project documents.
• Work closely with the company’s main store to plan and control inventory and material deliveries.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Site Supervisor in design & build industry.
• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, building regulations, and site processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural plans, and architectural specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Able to liaise effectively with site foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.
• Commitment to upholding health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
