SITE SUPERVISOR – EARTHWORK

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily earthwork activities at the construction site.
• Ensure earthwork activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Monitor excavation, soil removal, filling, backfilling, compaction, grading and earthwork preparation.
• Coordinate and supervise earthwork subcontractors, workers, machinery and equipment on site.
• Monitor the usage and productivity of heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, rollers, bulldozers and lorries.
• Check site levels, formation levels, slopes and earthwork quantities according to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with surveyors, consultants, engineers and subcontractors on setting-out and site levels.
• Monitor soil conditions and identify any site issues that may affect earthwork progress.
• Ensure proper compaction and testing requirements are carried out and documented.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure earthwork activities meet the project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with safety requirements.
• Prepare daily reports, site records, progress updates and relevant documentation.
• Coordinate with other site teams to ensure smooth progress of subsequent works such as drainage, roadwork and infrastructure works.
• Report any delays, defects, technical issues or discrepancies to the Site Manager / Project Manager.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the earthwork area.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Manager / Project Manager.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
