Site Supervisor - Full Time

JPR Environmental is an environmental contracting company based in Gloucestershire and we are expanding our workforce due to an increase in work. We are looking to fill several positions including a Site Supervisor to join our team. This role is for someone to supervise landscaping projects on site, reporting directly to a Site Manager and/or Operations Manager, to ensure that projects run on time and to budget. The projects include wetland creation/enhancement, erosion control and ecological habitat improvements.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our expanding landscaping team. Our employees are capable, reliable, hard-working and physically fit. They have the skills to solve problems and take responsibility for their work. They enjoy being part of the team and are respectful to each other. They are flexible to fit the business needs and are shown flexibility by the business. Safety on site is paramount for themselves and others. They should be comfortable taking initiative, communicating clearly with colleagues, and maintaining high standards across all site activities.

The Role

This role is for a working site supervisor to help drive projects on site, reporting directly to a Site Manager and/or Operations Manager, to ensure that works run on time and to budget. The ideal candidate will be able to supervise and engage in a wide variety of different jobs, from excavator or dumper driving to using a chainsaw, vegetation clearance, planting and landscaping. Salary depends on skills and experience, but necessary training will be given.

Essential Requirements:

· Working Site Supervisor experience

· Ability to delegate to others on site

· Ability to time manage themselves and others

· Ability to use their own initiative and problem solve

· Willing to travel within the UK and stay away as required

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Full, clean UK driving licence

· CSCS Card holder

Preferred Requirements:

· SSSTS or equivalent (although training can be given to the right candidate)

· CPCS card holder for excavator and dumper

· Chainsaw tickets

· First Aid at Work
