Site Supervisor (Interior Design)

About the role

Responsible for supervising and coordinating interior fit-out works on site, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule. Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants; monitor site progress, workmanship and materials; conduct site inspections; resolve site issues; and ensure proper safety, housekeeping, and timely completion of works.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate interior fit-out works on site according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule
• Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and materials
• Conduct site inspections
• Resolve site issues
• Ensure proper safety, housekeeping, and timely completion of works
• Monitor site progress, quality and schedule, and provide regular progress updates
• Handle site issues and coordination independently

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or other related fields
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant site supervision experience in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction works
• Good knowledge of interior fit-out works, including partition, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, glass and other finishing works
• Able to read and understand construction, ID and shop drawings
• Good understanding of site installation methods, materials and workmanship standards
• Able to coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site workers effectively
• Good problem-solving skills and able to handle site issues and coordination independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills when coordinating with project managers, designers, consultants and clients
• Basic knowledge of site safety requirements and proper site housekeeping
• Willing to work on-site and, when required, after normal working hours or weekends to suit the project schedule
