What they need

Location: Toronto, ON
Company: Cubecom Project Management Inc.

At Cubecom, we deliver high-quality, cost-effective office fit-outs across the GTA. We design, build, and help landlords lease spaces more effectively using our multidisciplinary approach. We strive to create environments that inspire productivity and meet modern business needs, both for our clients and within our organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and accountable Site Supervisor to oversee projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who measures success by the success of the entire team and takes pride in delivering exceptional results reflected in positive client feedback.

As part of a fast-paced design-build environment, you will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing trades, and ensuring that quality, safety, and schedule objectives are met. You will play a key role in turning design intent into built reality, representing our company’s commitment to excellence on every project.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Design Team and Project Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  • Project Oversight: Lead construction projects from mobilization through final delivery, ensuring work meets approved quality standards, budget parameters, and schedule commitments.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain detailed site schedules, coordinate daily and weekly trade activities, monitor progress, identify critical path impacts, and adjust resources to meet key milestones.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams, fostering a solutions-oriented, collaborative, and accountable site environment.
  • Communication: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the Project Manager, Design Team, architects, engineers, and inspectors to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.
  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with permit drawings, building codes, inspection requirements, and applicable construction standards.
  • Health & Safety Leadership: Lead and enforce health and safety practices on site, including conducting site orientations, toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety audits in accordance with OHSA and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify site risks, coordination issues, and constructability challenges, and implement corrective actions to mitigate impacts to schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Project Coordination & Cost Control: Support Project Coordinator duties as required, including assisting with budget tracking, reviewing purchase orders for scope and accuracy, and following established change order and approval protocols in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Quality & Close-Out: Manage deficiencies, oversee timely resolution, coordinate deficiency walkthroughs, and support the preparation of comprehensive project close-out documentation for clients.
  • Technology Utilization: Use construction management software and project tracking tools to manage site documentation, schedules, reporting, and communication effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreperson on commercial interior fit-out or office renovation projects.
  • Strong understanding of design-build project delivery, sequencing, and trade coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage projects in fast-paced, schedule-sensitive environments.
  • Solid knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as BuilderTrend, MS Project, and MS Teams (or similar).
  • Valid WHMIS, First Aid, and Working at Heights certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Class G Drivers License

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture built on trust, accountability and shared success.
  • Opportunities to lead and contribute across multiple sites, supporting peers when timelines tighten.
  • A workplace that values initiative, craftsmanship, and pride in delivering exceptional client results.
