Site Supervisor (Mechanical)

About the role

Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities at the client/project site. Lead and monitor maintenance workers, subcontractors, and site personnel. Coordinate mechanical works including repair, replacement, installation, dismantling, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities at the client/project site
• Lead and monitor maintenance workers, subcontractors, and site personnel
• Ensure works are carried out according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate mechanical works including repair, replacement, installation, dismantling, fabrication, and troubleshooting
• Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials required for maintenance activities
• Coordinate with clients, Project Managers, Engineers, maintenance teams, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PTW requirements, PPE, and site rules
• Conduct and participate in toolbox meetings and daily work briefings
• Identify technical issues and report them to the Engineer / Project Manager for further action
• Inspect completed maintenance works to ensure quality and client requirements are met

About you

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, construction, or engineering works
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently
• Willing to work at project/client sites and travel when required
