Site Supervisor / Quantity Surveyor (Developer/ Construction)

1) Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall project implementation, including interior fit-out and renovation work at the site.

• Monitor sub-contractors’ work on-site, ensuring the work sequence, methods, and quality are followed.

• Coordinate daily with sub-contractors about worker deployment, logistics, and reporting.

• Calculate quantities based on construction drawings.

• Support the Project Supervisor and Project Manager in managing interior fit-out and renovation projects.

• Attend weekly project meetings when needed.

• Manage project changes that affect progress during construction.

• Resolve on-site issues with the site team, consultants, and sub-contractors.

• Communicate with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure work follows drawings and specifications.

• Join site meetings, review inspection schedules, and complete inspection checklists.

• Prepare and review project documents like method statements, material submissions, construction drawings, and specifications for the relevant authorities.

• Be willing to be stationed at Semenyih Area.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent. Candidates with higher qualifications are encouraged to apply.

• At least 2 - 5 years' working experience in the Construction, Interiors & Fit-Out/renovation industry or related field is required for this position.

• Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hardworking, reliable, can work independently or with minimum supervision.

2. Quantity Surveyor
   Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Evaluate, compare and analyze subcontractor quotations and negotiate favorable terms.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments for project optimization.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast costs to maintain financial control.
• Prepare progress claims to clients, including variations.
• Review and prepare subcontractors progress payments, variations, and claims.
• Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation, including procurement schedules.
• Assist in contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and project closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Produce timely cost reports, financial statements, and progress updates for management.
• To attend site progress meeting and prepare the meeting reports.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Basic AutoCad.
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
