Site Supervisor / Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Site Engineer to join our team at Archon Construction Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure project delivery is efficient, safe and of the highest quality. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and supervise all construction activities on site, including coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues that arise and ensure the project stays on schedule
• Oversee the implementation of construction methods, techniques, and materials to meet project specifications
• Monitor site conditions, identify and resolve problems, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure all documentation, reporting, and record-keeping related to the project is completed accurately and on time
• Provide guidance and supervision to construction workers to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Engineer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry
