SITE SUPERVISOR WITH LIFTING COMPETENCY

JOB SCOPE:

1)      Prepare and interpret a lifting plan, briefing all lifting team members on the Lifting Plan, risk control measures and safe lifting procedures before the commencement of any lifting operation.

2)      Ensure all documentation required for lifting and rigging has been processed and corrected for the lifting and rigging to proceed

3)      Produce Lifting and Rigging Method Statements, Plot Plans Rigging Studies, Heavy Lift and Critical Lift packs. Ensure compliance with Client policies and procedures related to Lifting and rigging

4)      Coordinating and supervising all lifting activities by the Lifting Plan.

5)      Ensuring that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointed signalmen participate in any lifting operation involving the use of mobile and tower cranes.

6)      Take proactive measures to reduce hazards at the project sites and prevent the possibility of future occurrence of incidences and accidents.

7)      Be present during all lifting operations and if unsafe conditions are reported, take suitable measures to rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely.

8)      Site supervision works when there are no lifting activities during construction.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

1)      Required valid lifting supervisor competency (JKKP/DOSH recognized)

2)      Required to be systematic and mechanically inclined, to use and operate rigging/lifting equipment and execute operations

3)      Able to work beyond normal working hours based on the project’s needs

4)      Able to work at project site Kulim, Kedah on 6 days basis (Mon-Sat)
