Site Support Engineer – DCS/SIS (DeltaV)
Location: Qatar (onshore & offshore)
Role type: Field / Commissioning support – FAT/SAT through early operations
HW3 is looking for a Site Support Engineer (DCS/SIS) to support DeltaV control and safety systems during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and start-up on a major QatarEnergy project.
Key responsibilities
- Test and verify DeltaV DCS and SIS functionality on site against design and customer standards
- Execute FAT/SAT scripts, manage punch lists, and support integration with third‑party systems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across controllers, I/O, networks, and operator stations
- Work closely with construction, instrumentation, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover
You’ll need
- Hands-on experience with DeltaV (configuration, troubleshooting, commissioning)
- Strong background in control systems, instrumentation, and site acceptance testing
- Prior site commissioning experience in oil & gas or similar process industries
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a formal, safety‑critical environment
