Site Surveyor

About the role

Site Surveyor role involving conducting site surveys and measurements to verify existing site conditions, dimensions, levels and coordinates. The role includes carrying out setting out works, performing land and construction surveying using surveying equipment, and preparing accurate survey records and as-built information.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and measurements to verify existing site conditions, dimensions, levels and coordinates
• Carry out setting out works and establish reference points, grid lines, levels and alignment according to approved drawings
• Perform land and construction surveying using surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, GPS and other relevant instruments
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, field notes, measurement data and as-built information
• Check and verify site measurements against approved drawings and specifications
• Assist Site Engineer / Project Engineer in setting out and monitoring construction works
• Conduct survey checks for foundations, structural works, architectural works, roadworks and other construction activities
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and drawings and report them to the relevant project team
• Prepare survey reports, drawings and as-built surveys when required
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams regarding surveying and setting out matters

About you

• Diploma / Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction surveying / site surveying
• Proficient in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS and other surveying equipment
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software is an added advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work on construction sites and travel to project locations when required
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team
