Site Surveyor – Construction

Job Summary

ERA Projects is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Surveyor – Construction to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, setting out construction works, verifying levels and measurements, and ensuring all construction activities are carried out accurately according to approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct construction site surveys, measurements, leveling, and setting-out activities.
• Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, control points, and reference lines.
• Carry out setting out for foundations, columns, slabs, walls, and other structural elements.
• Operate surveying equipment, including Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS/GNSS.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings.
• Check dimensions, elevations, alignment, and levels against approved drawings.
• Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey records.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Identify discrepancies between actual site conditions and approved drawings and report them promptly.
• Ensure surveying equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Follow project quality standards, safety procedures, and site regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction surveying experience.
• Hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying instruments.
• Strong knowledge of setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is an advantage.
• Experience in villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Previous Bahrain/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain and able to join immediately.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and coordination skills.
