Site Work Superintendent

Job Overview

Join a growing residential home builder looking for an experienced, dependable Site Development Manager to oversee all site preparation activities for our new home construction projects. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and other site preparation equipment.
• Perform residential lot clearing, grading, excavation, and site preparation.
• Excavate for crawl spaces, slabs, and utility trenches.
• Perform rough grading and final grading to meet plans and elevations.
• Place gravel for foundations, crawl spaces, and driveways.
• Install foundation waterproofing.
• Prepare landscape beds and complete final site cleanup.
• Load and haul debris, dirt, and other materials using company equipment.
• Read site plans, elevations, and grades.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate work to keep projects on schedule.
• Work safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators, skid steers, and heavy equipment.
• Experience with residential site development and home construction.
• Knowledge of lot clearing, excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation.
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Residential subdivision development.
• GPS grading equipment.
• Foundation excavation.
• Waterproofing foundations.
• Gravel placement and finish grading.
• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
