Site/Project Engineer

A. Project Planning and Site Execution

• Review plans, specifications, scope, bill of quantities, work instructions, and client requirements before execution.
• Prepare short-term work plans, look-ahead schedules, manpower deployment plans, equipment requirements, and daily activity priorities.
• Coordinate work fronts, access, permits, shutdown windows, deliveries, and interfaces with plant operations and other contractors.

B. Cost, Materials, and Resource Control

• Prepare and monitor material requests, delivery schedules, receiving verification, usage, storage, and reconciliation.
• Ensure requested quantities are supported by drawings, take-offs, approved work plans, and actual site conditions.

C. Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing-Facility Compliance

• Work closely with the Safety Officer and Foreman to conduct pre-work briefings, toolbox meetings, hazard reviews, and daily site inspections.
• Comply with company rules and all applicable client induction, permit-to-work, access, hygiene, housekeeping, environmental, and security requirements.
• Stop and report unsafe work, defective materials, improper installation, or any condition that may affect people, plant operations, product safety, quality, or property.
• Coordinate inspections and testing; maintain inspection requests, checklists, test results, punch lists, corrective actions, and closeout evidence.

D. Coordination, Documentation, and Reporting

• Serve as Drawsteel Builders’ day-to-day technical representative at the assigned work area.
• Attend coordination meetings and communicate commitments, constraints, decisions, and action items to the Project Manager and relevant team members.
• Prepare accurate daily reports covering manpower, accomplishments, deliveries, equipment, weather, safety observations, delays, instructions, and photographs.
• Maintain current drawings, RFIs, site instructions, approvals, permits, submittals, transmittals, variation records, and as-built information.
• Escalate incidents, near misses, quality failures, schedule risks, client complaints, and commercial impacts immediately through the proper reporting line.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or equivalent field-based construction role.
• Must currently reside in General Trias or another nearby Cavite area that allows a reliable and practical daily commute to Gateway Business Park.
• Must be willing and able to report daily to the Pasig training site for three (3) consecutive months before Cavite deployment.
• Hands-on experience in civil, structural, architectural, fit-out, repair, or facility-improvement works is strongly preferred.
• Experience working inside an operating manufacturing, industrial, food, or FMCG facility is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity take-off, scheduling, manpower planning, material control, inspection, testing, and progress reporting.
• Competent in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD, scheduling software, and digital project-document systems is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Able to work under time pressure, coordinate multiple trades, solve site issues promptly, and maintain professional conduct with clients and subcontractors.

Employement timeline:

Main office is situated in San Mateo, Rizal, in which the training site deployment would be in Manggahan, Pasig City with boarding allowance during the 3-month training period before the deployment to Cavite site.

• Accept the three-month Pasig training assignment without an expectation of early transfer.
• After training, report to the assigned Unilever manufacturing facility in Gateway Business Park, General Trias, Cavite.
• Be available for shifting schedules, shutdown activities, weekend work, overtime, or emergency site requirements when authorized and required by the project.
• Maintain reliable transportation or a dependable commuting plan for both the training and permanent deployment locations.
• Disclose in advance any condition that may prevent full attendance during training or regular Cavite deployment.

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month
