About Stoke Mountain

Stoke Mountain is anindoor ski and snowboard training facility built to rethink the way people progress in winter sports. We’recreating a year-round space for skiers and riders of all levels to train smarter, push progression, and stay connected to the sport.

About the Role

We’re looking for technically strong, skiers and snowboarders who are passionate about coaching all levels—from first-timers to advanced athletes. As a Ski & Snowboard Instructor, you’ll teach private and group lessons on our high-tech indoor ski machines, guide both kids and adults through progressive training, and help define the future of indoor coaching in the U.S.

This is a coaching-focused position with opportunities to shape new programs as our facility grows.

What You’ll Do

· Teach private and group lessons for kids and adults

· Develop lesson plans tailored to each student’s progression

· Manage safety procedures and monitor guest readiness

· Help guests get comfortable on the indoor ski machines

· Track student progress

· Assist with gear setup (boots, skis/boards, adjustments)

· Keep training zones clean, organized, and safe

· Answer student and guest questions about training and technique

· Participate in ongoing staff training and coaching development

· Support other departments when needed

· Train personally during available downtime

What We’re Looking For

· At least 1 year of instructing experience (more is strongly preferred)

· Strong technical skier or rider (ability to teach what you personally know)

· Experience teaching kids and adults

· Encouraging, patient, and safety-minded coaching style

· High-energy communicator who can break down skills clearly

· Passion for progression and helping people grow

· Ability to work one weekend day and 10-12 hour shifts

· Bonus: ability to teach both skiing and snowboarding
