Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Skid Loader Operator/Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will operate skid loaders and other heavy equipment to support various construction projects. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will help ensure efficient site operations while maintaining safety standards on the job site.

Duties

• Operate skid loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as grading, excavation, loading, and material movement
• Assist with site preparation, demolition, pipe installation, and erosion control activities
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Support construction crews with material handling and site cleanup
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations and report any hazards or incidents promptly
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently

Experience

• Prior experience operating skid loaders and other heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, or dump trucks is highly preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to construction machinery
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus for operating trucks like dump trucks or water trucks
• Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment brands is advantageous
• Experience in horizontal drilling or paving projects is a bonus but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
