Skid Steer Operator

Skid Steer Operator
Captivated Construction | Halifax, NS
Seasonal | $25 to $28/hr | 20 hr/week pay guarantee

Small machine. Big job. Lots of corners the loader can't reach.

We're hiring skid steer operators to clear walkways, entrances, loading docks, and tight spots on properties around Halifax this winter. You'll be the one who makes the place look finished.

What you'll do:

• Clear snow in tight areas, entrances, and around buildings
• Push back piles and clean up after the loader and plow trucks
• Do your daily machine checks
• Keep an eye out for hazards and report them

What we need:

• Skid steer experience preferred. We'll consider good operators from other equipment
• Steady hands and good judgement in close quarters
• Available nights, early mornings, and weekends through the season
• You show up. Every storm.

20 hours a week guaranteed. The forecast doesn't decide your paycheque.

Put in a good winter and there's a shot at summer work with our construction crew. We'd rather keep good people than go looking for new ones.
