Skid Steer Operator - Construction

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, specifically skid steers, to assist in construction and excavation projects and with experience in grading. This role requires a strong understanding of site safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Duties

• Operate skid steer to perform tasks such as loading, digging, and moving materials on construction sites.
• Assist in building and paving tasks by preparing the ground and transporting materials.
• Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Collaborate with other operators and crew members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating skid steers and with experience in grading is a must.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with construction work.
