Skilled Carpenter / Punch Tech

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Punch Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise carpentry work, interpreting construction plans, and completing punch list tasks to ensure the highest quality standards on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help deliver flawless finishes, restore properties, and contribute to the overall success of our construction and renovation efforts. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute carpentry tasks
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, fixture installation, and trim carpentry
• Perform drywall installation, plastering, caulking, rebar installation, and metal stud framing as needed
• Complete punch list items including fixture installation, cabinet mounting, mold remediation, and restoration work
• Operate woodworking machines safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential carpentry, framing, drywall, remodeling or restoration industry projects
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry tasks
• Familiarity with woodworking machines and metal stud framing techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active construction sites
• Experience with fixture installation, siding work, caulking, rebar installation, and mold remediation is preferred
• Knowledge of power tool safety practices and use of wood construction materials
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in finishing work or restoration projects
• Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
