Skilled Construction Laborer / Carpenter Helper

Join our crew working on general construction projects throughout North Texas. We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and can complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.

· At least two years of hands-on general construction experience, including safe tool use, accurate layout and material installation. Experience using common hand and power tools safely

· Work environment includes commercial/industrial/residential

· Basic equipment operation

· Ability to follow plans, measurements and supervisor instructions

· Commitment to jobsite safety, proper PPE use and appropriate fall protection when working at heights.

· Material handling and job site organization: Loading, unloading, staging and protecting materials; maintaining a clean work area.

· Working productively on a crew: Completing assigned tasks with limited supervision, communicating problems promptly and recognizing when to ask for directions.

· Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and work outdoors in North Texas weather

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Willingness to travel to job sites throughout North Texas

· Dependable attendance and ability to pass any required employment screening

Preferred Experience in any of these areas:

· Welding

· Carpentry and framing

· Metal building or barn construction

o Metal panel and trim installation: Handling, cutting and fastening metal roofing, siding and trim.

· Roofing or exterior construction - Experience operating skid steers, forklifts or aerial lifts.

· Concrete and site preparation

o Foundation and anchoring work: Assisting with concrete forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts and installation of structural anchors.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
