Skilled Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing various construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency on-site. Duties

• Assist with site preparation for particular job and to ensure a safe work environment.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and concrete mixers to perform tasks like framing, cutting, and finishing.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans for carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other trades.
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work to create durable foundations and structures.
• Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers & backhoes when required for material handling or site logistics.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site by properly storing tools and disposing of debris regularly.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with concrete forming andfinishing techniques is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts and/or skidsteers & backhoes is advantageous.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
