Skilled Construction Laborer

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Skilled Construction Laborer to join our growing team. Concrete experience is a plus, but it is not required.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up when they’re scheduled, works well with a crew, and is willing to put in the effort it takes to get the job done right. Dependability and a strong work ethic are extremely important for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete forming, pouring, placement, finishing, and related concrete work
• Build and remove concrete forms
• Install rebar and reinforcement materials
• Read and follow blueprints, plans, measurements, and project specifications
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Assist with demolition, site preparation, cleanup, and other general construction duties
• Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
• Follow company policies and all jobsite safety requirements
• Work effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other crew members
• Be willing to assist with other construction duties as needed to keep projects moving

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience preferred
• Concrete experience is a plus
• Experience with concrete forming, pouring, or finishing is a plus
• Ability to safely use common construction hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must be physically capable of performing construction work
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and report to work on time
• Must be willing to work hard and contribute to the crew
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
