Skilled Construction Technician

Evergreen Property Care is hiring an experienced construction technician for repairs, remodeling, and property improvements in the Rutland area. We need someone who can take an assigned task, work through it carefully, and produce work they're proud of.

This is a hands-on, skilled position — not an entry-level laborer role. Projects vary, so experience across several trades is valuable.

What you'll do

• Complete carpentry, drywall repairs, painting, and interior and exterior improvements.
• Install and repair doors, trim, cabinets, and other building components.
• Handle demolition, preparation, and renovation work.
• Measure accurately, plan your work, and flag problems before proceeding.
• Coordinate with the foreman and record completed work, time, and materials.
• Protect customers' homes and belongings and keep the job site clean and organized.
• Follow job-site safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in construction, remodeling, or skilled property repair.
• Ability to complete assigned work independently and work well with a crew.
• Confident, safe use of common hand and power tools.
• Reliable attendance, clear communication, and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Respect for customers, coworkers, and occupied homes.

How to apply

Apply through Indeed with your résumé or a short summary of your experience. Tell us what types of projects you've worked on, which tasks you can complete independently, and when you're available to start. Photos of your work are welcome.
