Skilled Dozer Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dozer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Operate dozers with precision to move earth, gravel, and other materials according to project specifications
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment, including Caterpillar dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and backhoes to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, paving, and land clearing to support construction activities
• Collaborate with team members to execute horizontal drilling, excavation, and other specialized construction operations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment or report issues promptly for repairs

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating dozers in a construction environment with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
• Knowledge of various heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and paving machinery
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials on-site
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical instructions accurately
• Strong safety awareness with a commitment to adhering to OSHA standards and site-specific safety policies
• Prior experience with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
