We are looking for the post of Skilled Endoscopy Technician in Medicine Department (Eligible candidates are invited to apply for this post at HIMSR on contractual basis).

The specification for the post is as under: Job Title Skilled Endoscopy Technician-01 Qualification 12th Pass or Graduate in Science Stream /Diploma

Availability of necessary certificate Course (at least a Diploma with special training in ERCP) Completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician program or equivalent training.

Certification as an Endoscopy Technician is preferred.

Relevant Experience 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Salary 40,000/- to 45000/- per month Job Description Thorough Knowledge of Equipment: Familiarise yourself deeply with all types of endoscopic equipment. Continuous learning about new technologies and their operation is essential.

Prepare and set up the endoscopy room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.

Assist healthcare professionals in performing endoscopic procedures by providing technical support and maintaining a sterile field.

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.

Retrieve and process specimens for laboratory analysis, ensuring proper documentation and storage.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of procedures performed, patient vitals, and any complications or adverse events.

Assist with patient positioning and comfort during endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Monitor patients during procedures, promptly reporting any changes in their condition to the healthcare team.

Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of endoscopy equipment, coordinating repairs when necessary.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
