Skilled Extrusion Operator 2nd/3rd

SUMMERY

The Extruder Dept. duties will include the following as well as the normal cross-functional team approach to satisfying production schedules:

Successful candidates will work in one of the following positions:

Material Handler, Utility, Winder, or Operator. Specific duties may include operating an extruder, fork truck, winder/slitter helper, or a Utility driver/ backup for a combination of positiions. Also helping with start up and shut down procedures, removing offal and scrap from area, meeting or exceeding productivity and waste targets, performing quality inspections.

Qualifications

It is essential that candidates be in good physical condition to work with our products and machinery. Fork lift experience is a plus. Must be able to lift or push 10+ pounds regularly and 25+ occasionally, able to work in a team environment, able to work at a steady fast pace, good at learning quickly, flexible, quality minded and safe. Candidates with previous extruder experience, solid work history and good attendance are preferred. Shifts are 2p-10p and 10p-6a. Some weekend work is mandatory.
