Skilled Flooring Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled flooring technician with hands-on experience with refinishing and installation who can work independently, maintain a clean job site, and deliver high-quality work that meets our standards.

This is not an entry-level role, we need someone who knows flooring and takes pride in their craft.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of flooring materials including:
• Hardwood (solid & engineered)
• LVP/LVT
• Laminate
• Carpet (a plus)
• Sanding and refinishing hardwood floors
• Repairs, board replacements, and patchwork
• Install transitions, trim, and stair components
• Read work orders and follow job specifications
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
• Load/unload materials and tools as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years flooring experience (installation and/or refinishing)
• Experience using flooring tools and sanding equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Professional attitude and good communication skills

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience with custom inlays or detailed finish work
• Stair installation experience
• Basic knowledge of moisture testing and subfloor prep

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.07 - $30.00 per hour
