Responsibilities

Assist experienced stonemasons with preparing and handling materials using hand tools and power tools to ensure efficient workflow.
Support bricklaying and masonry tasks by mixing mortar, transporting bricks, stones, and other materials around the site.
Operate basic carpentry tools for framing or formwork as needed for masonry structures or roofing preparations.
Help with roofing tasks by passing tools, holding materials, or assisting in installation processes under supervision.
Participate in welding activities when required for structural support or metal components within masonry projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and safely, contributing to the overall progress of the project.

Qualifications

Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, or basic construction tasks is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with bricklaying, masonry techniques, or carpentry is a plus but not mandatory—willingness to learn is essential.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to safety procedures and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of welding techniques or roofing processes is advantageous but not essential; training opportunities are available.
