Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and mechanically inclined Mechanical Technician to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in industrial mechanical work, pipefitting, fabrication, equipment installation, or a related trade. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and can work independently or as part of a team.

IMPORTANT: Extensive out-of-state travel is a requirement of this position. Candidates must be willing and available to travel regularly for extended periods, depending on project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, maintain, and modify industrial piping and mechanical systems.

Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication, and equipment installation.
Assist with pipefitting, tubing installation, bending, and system modifications.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
Perform measurements, layout, cutting, grinding, and material preparation.
Assist with welding operations, including TIG, MIG, stick, and orbital welding, as qualified.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop practical solutions in the field.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with project supervisors and other team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous hands-on experience in mechanical installation, industrial maintenance, pipefitting, fabrication, or a related skilled trade preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings preferred.
Experience with industrial piping, welding, or high-pressure systems is a plus.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project schedules require.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments.

• Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks, as applicable to job and customer-site requirements.

Extensive travel is mandatory. Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide, including overnight and extended assignments.
